Tamicha Gooden, APRN, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. She received her APRN certification in the state of Florida in 2018.
Tamicha also worked as a charge nurse of labor and delivery/OB-GYN at UF Health Central Florida. Tamicha’s professional training includes working in family medicine (acute illness) at both Langley Health Services in Sumterville, FL, and St. Francis Primary Care in Leesburg, FL. Tamicha also worked in internal medicine (chronic illness) and pediatrics.
